Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

How to Prepare Articles

There is no strict word limit. However, following world limit may be followed:

Editorial                    :2000 words

View Point                : 2000 words

Original Article        : 3000 words

Short Article/ LTE    : 1500 words

Case Study              : 1500 Words

Review Article         : 10000 words

Short Review           : 3000 words

  • Abstract: As per the template, all articles must have structured abstract. Abstract should be about 250 words for Original article and around 100 words for other articles.

  • Main Body of Text: should be generally structured into Introduction, Objectives, Methodology, Results and Discussion. More details about this are also given in the template.

  • Systematic Reviews should conform to the checklists given below  PRISMA

  • References: Should be given at the end of the article using Vancouver style. Within the text these should be quoted within square brackets.

  • Tables and Figures: Should be given at the end of the Article. Should be numbered with Roman Number. Tables and figures should be numbered separately.

    How to Submit

    1. Download the Article Template

    2. Prepare your article strictly as per the template

    3. Register yourself online as author and submit article online. You will need to send email at   ijhsir.chd@gmail.com with cc to ahsas.pgichd@gmail.com  and  aggak63@gmail.com ,  to register yourself.

    4. We will help in online submsiion. After acceptance of the article submit copyright form through email at   ijhsir.chd@gmail.com

    5. Make online payment of Article Processing Fee as applicable.

      The article will be peer reviewed. You will be communicated the reviewers comments. You will need to modify the article as per comments and submit again. Remember, you should NOT submit as new article. But you should submit the revised article under revision section. 

    Similarly, you will be sent copyedited version. Accept the changes under track review mode and submit copyedited version. There is option under discssion sectio in copyediting mode. You can add discussion and upload your copyedited file.

    Next, you will be sent Galley Proof. Similarly, accept the galley proof. Minor corrections are permitted. Upload galley proof under discussion tab of production section.

    After acceptance of the article, any time you need to submit the copyright form.

    After acceptance of the galley proof, you need to submit the article processing charges.
