Abstract

The review article provides an overview of how the analysis of the diagnostic laboratory data can support better understanding of the diseases of public health importance. This article encompasses potential applications of laboratory data to different healthcare domains such as, disease surveillance, targeted interventions of health programs, patient profiling, and predictive analytics.
